After two years of operation, the Bored & Hungry restaurant in Lengthy Seaside, California, has formally closed its doorways.
The model, which utilized the Bored Ape Yacht Membership (BAYC) NFT as its branding, has been acquired by Hungry DAO.
Bored & Hungry opened its doorways in April 2022 and had gained recognition for its fusion of burger delicacies with the distinctive branding of the BAYC NFT.

Andy Nguyen, co-founder of Bored and Hungry, confirmed the closure in a press release posted on X, stating, “Immediately we are saying goodbye to the unique Bored & Hungry location in Lengthy Seaside, CA.”
The branding and franchising firm Hungry DAO acquired the Bored & Hungry model and the restaurant’s founding crew will retain a stake within the model, becoming a member of the DAO as shareholders.
